My Background and Coaching PhilosophyI became a professional development and business coach after nineteen years as a commercial litigator in a large law firm in Michigan. From my experience, I knew that the success of firms always depends on their greatest assets - - their people. Yet firms and other organizations are not always capable of maximizing the individual strengths of those assets. Therein I saw an unanswered need as well as an opportunity to make a positive difference in my profession. I now work one on one with lawyers and other professionals to help them build the practice they want and reach their potential. I believe a personal business coach is a competitive advantage for lawyers and others - - helping them identify and reach their goals by brainstorming, focusing and taking steps using what works for the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
